Kc4u aims to empower young people from different backgrounds and create a more cohesive society through mixed-nation, mixed-gender K4 kayaking, whilst increasing youth sports participation and inspiring more athletes to compete in K4s (4 person kayaks)

Our Project

Bringing together over 750 children children from clubs and schools in rural Slovenia and regional Sardinia (ITA), Kc4u has delivered:

School Events

19 hands-on crew kayaking events were run in schools in Sardinia & Slovenia raising awareness of the sport and actively engaging over 600 youth in fun team sporting activities

International K4 Camps

Winter and summer International K4 Camps were held in Cabras, Sardinia, & Lake Bohinj, Slovenia challenging participants to paddle in mixed-gender, mixed-nationality crews

Cultural & Environmental Actions

Participants joined together for cultural, and environmental activities including; a beach clean-up, art projects, and several excursions exploring local historical heritage

Foreign Language Learning

Foreign language skills were enhanced through the completion of a wide array of learning activities from digital courses, to in-person experiences
